Very well stocked-stocking site! I personally don't see why not just get to the closest lingerie store and openly ask for whatever hosiery you might need. Vendors are usually "open minded" enough, especially after they realise that you're not jocking and you might become a frequent customer. Unless of course you have difficulties getting tights in your size. In that case, I guess that website can solve the problem. I haven't checked out their forum, but I think it's good to have one dedicated to male wearers.

I'm not very confortable with nylon stockings. I don't like the feeling. For the winter, I prefer something that will really warm me up (wool or cotton-based spandex), and during the summer... nothing! Just the sheer sensation of freedom and élan offered by wearing a light broad skirt.

Funny sitcom, from what I can see. No, it didn't reach these shores, so I hadn't even heard of it. Thanks. It reminded me of "Hogan's Heroes" which was shown here in the 60s (dubbed into Spanish). I didn't encounter any males in mary-janes, but I did come across an hilarious scene obviously inspired by Danny Kaye's "vessel with the pestle" routine from "The Court Jester" ("the drug in the mug"), albeit without his inimitable spark.

Yes, I too loved that phrase.

As for going to the closest lingerie store and openly buying whatever hosiery you want, it is a good idea. You'll see what you're getting, it's quick, easy and efficient. Unfortunately, many men are too shy or embarrassed to do this. Still, websites that sell hosiery are a good alternative and you could get a much greater variety of styles and sizes.

Too bad you don't like stockings. While I usually wear pantyhose or tights under my skirts, sometimes I "go commando," that is, I'd wear only a pair of stockings under my skirt. Nothing like really feeling the breeze blowing under your skirt or sitting across a pretty woman on the subway, and "accidentally" showing her the tops of my stockings and "something else."

BTW, if you ever do "go commando," chafing in the areas between your legs can be a problem, so I highly recommend that you carry a pair of panties.
